Most days, after lunch and a little free play, we head upstairs to the big bed for some quiet time. The girls tickle and giggle and roll around for a while at first. It is so fun to watch them play together. Oh, sweet sisters, you have so many hours of playing together ahead of you.
Eventually, Elsa gets tired and I nurse her to sleep, while Fiona lays around and entertains herself quietly. I always hope she'll nap, too, but that rarely happens.
Usually, Fiona ends up reading in her own room.
And I get a little reading in, too.
Yes, quiet time is good.
