"Daddy's so cool..."
Elijah insisted that I get in the big nest at the zoo to be the "Mama bird!" This trip to the zoo is documented on the DBFA Blog here.
My new haircut! Fiona has a new look, too. Everyday she wears a "Yaya (Elijah) coat!"
I love all the little scenes I find carefully set throughout the house everyday. Today, I found this very buff (and kind of scary) cave man going night night on the dollhouse bed under a piece of ginger from the pretend sushi set. My tender girl.
Fiona drew her first whole person. She pointed out the eyes, mouth, arms and legs to me. One of the legs is drawn in pen rather than marker if you are having trouble seeing it. After I took this picture, she drew a curved line above the head and said "hat." I am in awe.
Fiona under the parachute!
Girl's got style.
Preparing lunch for Clare.

Snow in my parents' backyard.
My brother, Eric, pan-fried salmon from Vital Choice for lunch. Yum!
